Lateral Attorney

Farr Law Group seeks a partner-track lateral attorney with experience in litigation. Trusts and estate or real estate litigation experience, or having represented creditors in state or federal courts is also desired but not mandatory.

Requirements:

    • Four to eight years experience
    • Knowledge of local, state and federal court rules
    • A high level of attention to detail – self-starter with excellent problem solving and organizational skills
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Ideal candidate should value that FLG is located for ease of access to world class recreation rather than bus lines

Compensation:

    • $120,000 to $140,000 annual salary range DOE (based on 1,400 hours expectation)
    • 3% salary employer contribution to 401k after one year
    • Full medical/dental

Personal Assistant

Farr Law Group seeks an executive assistant whose primary role is to keep Farr Law Group’s managing partner organized and efficient both in and outside our office. This person will also help contribute to the operations side of the law firm by assisting with on-going organization projects and light administrative tasks.

Primary duties:

    • Manage household organization projects such as: seasonal changeovers, decluttering unnecessary household items, and ensuring laundry and dry cleaning is done on a regular basis.
    • Purchase groceries, distribute groceries and organize both office and home kitchens, and food preparation on a weekly basis.
    • Manage the partner’s personal calendar while taking into account their work schedule requirements.
    • Receive personal mail and paperwork, present the mail in an organized manner, and communicate what follow up steps are needed.
    • Maintain a list of important personal deadlines and ensure completion.

Secondary duties:

    • Legal assistant projects and tasks as needed, including: answering phones, opening/closing files, filing, archiving, preparing correspondence, etc.
    • Potential to expand job description and duties as tasks are mastered.

      Requirements:

        • Associate diploma or higher is preferred
        • Reliable discretion
        • Clean driving record
        • Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills
        • Positive attitude, courteous, pleasant demeanor and professional appearance
        • A high level of attention to detail
        • Impeccable attendance, punctuality and a strong work ethic
        • Self-starter with excellent problem solving and organizational skills

      Compensation:

        • Salary is DOE
        • Automatic 3% of salary to 401k after one year
        • Full health insurance coverage, including dental
